This is me
I am a dynamic motivational speaker, author, and early childhood education (ECE) business consultant dedicated to empowering educators and students alike. With a powerful voice rooted in personal experience, I help schools, programs, and educational leaders use education as a transformative tool to break cycles of poverty, trauma, and adversity. Specializing in at-risk youth, I deliver keynotes, professional development workshops, and strategic consulting services that equip educators to connect with, inspire, and elevate the students who need it most. Through my consulting work, I support ECE program leaders in building strong, sustainable educational environments that foster long-term success for young learners.

Growing up as an at-risk youth on the West Side of Chicago, I know the firsthand struggles faced by students in under-resourced communities. My own journey from adversity to achievement — fueled by education and relentless determination — is the heartbeat of my mission. After overcoming the challenges of my environment, I became an educator with a purpose: to reach back and lift others up. Today, I use my story to inspire resilience, promote equity in education, and encourage educators to see beyond behavior and into potential. With every speech, book, and coaching session, I show that education isn’t just a pathway — it’s a lifeline.

Recently, I wrote a book about my journey in education called, "Overcoming Adversity Through Education." My book explores the transformative power of education in the lives of at-risk youth. In this book, I share my account of how education empowered me to learn, grow, and gain resilience to overcome obstacles in life. As a result, I became an educator who helps inspire students and empowers other educators.
